With the re-launch of the iconic Serge Kirchhofer brand scuppered by a dramatic turn of events in Paris last year, MIDO ’17 was set to be an exciting opportunity to finally introduce the long-awaited collection. Set against the softly glowing backdrop of the bespoke Brando booth, the Serge Kirchhofer frames took centre stage at MIDO. Suitably bold, exaggerated and decadent, channeling Udo Proksch’s original designs but reimagined for a contemporary audience. Statement silhouettes, dreamy hues and 14 carat gold details dominate the collection, which was unsurprisingly met with awe.
